Artist Notes: Old Timer at Winterthur is a memory of the vast, naturalistic, country estate in Delaware that is a du Pont heritage. I have always loved trees, and this one was impressive. The painting belongs to the "Places I Love In America" series. It is acrylic and ink on canvas, 16 inches high by 12 inches wide, on heavy duty stretchers, with painted sides. A frame is not necessary. SOLD.
